Since finding out that Kitty’s boyfriend was really a girlfriend we have seen her around a lot. We were very happy to find out that she did have people looking out for her. We also still continue to leave out food and water because it always disappears. Sylvia has visited us a lot now and she even trusts us to give her pets.
I do really wonder what Silvia will do in the upcoming MN winter. I’ve thought about making some sort of cat house. I would consider letting her into our apartment, but since she has been coming around more, I’m starting to see that her and Kitty don’t actually get along. Silvia often hisses at Kitty through the screen door and Kitty gets really jealous when we go out to pet her or give her food.
I’ve seen a few cat house/shelters on Pinterest that you can build: click here. Some are more complex than others, but I’m pretty sure I could handle the tote-box ones. Has anyone made these? Or had any luck with them? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
